Quiet Hour
At Grand Arcade, we understand that shopping experiences for people with autism conditions, sensory sensitivities and mental health conditions like anxiety can be stressful.
That’s why from 13th May we’ll be introducing ‘Quiet Hour’ on our mall areas, which will take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am -10am.
Retailers taking part in ‘Quiet Hour’ are Toytown, Clintons, Waterstones, GamesnMore, The Works, Trespass, New Look, Shoezone, Rebuild with Hope, Le Petit Four, Schuh, The Fragrance Shop, Muffin Break, Pandora, Holland & Barrett, The Little Kitchen, TSB, Savers, Holland & Barrett, Clarks, Vodafone, Eurochange, Time Piece, TSB, Sky, Claires and HSBC (who also have quiet hour every day between 2pm – 3pm)
By lowering or turning off the music and reducing tannoy announcements where possible, we’ll create a calmer, more subdued environment to help our diverse community enjoy an unforgettable and inclusive experience at Grand Arcade. After all, everyone is welcome.
